The past few months have been busy with a lot of things for us at TFT and we kind of fell off some blog posts, but I’m back today to tell you about my new project with Instagram.
I had some hurdles to get over, for me, the usual tech kind. Sadly, but true, I am taking longer to get acquainted with newer social media and software. And there is always some upgrade to something that will involve protocol, password, or other changes. I get frustrated. I just want to share my visions and the awesome imagery of the many decks we work with, in our livestreams, client readings and our own personal works.
Instagram was harder for me to ge on board with it, and I wanted to mark the occasion by coming up with a new reading specifically and exclusively for Instagram.
Thus, was born “Your Weird Week”, a more collective weekly reading than either of our YouTube shows, Material Matters and Emotional Exchanges which run on Sundays and Fridays respectively.
Your Weird Week is different as it doesn’t’ have divisions per Astrology signs like the YouTube weekly shows. And it utilized cards from several weeks that are themed more to the nature of the reading. Card 1 is the focus or environmental situations around you and is pulled from The Uncommon Tarot. Card 2 concerns what you may find out, or what you may not find out but should possibly and is drawn from The Deviant Moon Tarot. With Card 3 we pull from the Tarot of Oppositions, to find perspectives you may be missing or certainly need to consider. Possibly a fourth card is drawn, the “What Wins the Weird” and it is drawn from the stunning and strange Tarot Del Toro, by Guillermo del Toro, the director of unusual visual movies.
Instagram was harder for me to get on board with it, and I wanted to mark the occasion by coming up with a new reading specifically and exclusively for Instagram.e than the collective humanity that read it. I see the reading becoming more about our world and the things that we don’t necessarily control. The world’s constants and abstracts. Of course, there is and will be overlap. Your Weird Week is posted on Sunday nights at instagram. @tft_tarotfortoday (IG) Until the next time, this is Oberon.t
