What You Need to Know If you are attending TFTs Guided Tarot Journey Tonight.
Here’s everything you need to know if you are attending our special Yule Ritual/Guided Tarot journey. It will be at 9:00 p.m., EST on TFTs YouTube Channel. We will be live in the Chat answering any questions and guiding you through the Video.
Description: This is a virtual ritual designed to be performed as a video performance on YouTube and/or live on Zoom. All Participants & Mr. O are “The Fool” in this Ritual & will be visiting each of the other 21 Major Arcana cards/archetypes in this guided journey. Along the way, you will receive poetic words of advice and receive a “gift/token” to remember the message by. Following this part of the ritual, there will be a tarot card reading for 2023 for the collective based on the Tarot Fool’s Journey.
Designed to be interactive, everyone can participate to some extent, from forming the circle, through the journey itself (by visualization & reciting words) through the collective card reading g at the end. You can bring your Tarot cards if you like & do your own Tarot reading for 2023 along with the one we’re doing for the collective.
What’s listed below is not the entire ritual but all actions & words you can say during the performance.
Circle Casting:
After Banshee & Oberon recite the line below in bold, everyone should reach their hand/arm out as if taking someone’s hand & recite the line (below) out loud or to themselves, then put out their other arm/hand as if someone was reaching for theirs & write the line in the Chat & imagine seeing us all in a Circle, one-by-one grasping the person’s hand next to them.
From Hand to Hand, the Circle is cast.
Then Oberon or Banshee will recite some words to formally cast the circle.
We will call in quarters & deities/divine source, once finished, we will begin the journey after Mr. O does some a brief relaxation breath work which then leads us into the Journey. Banshee will light a Yule candle, recite some words to lead us on the Journey of the Fool.
Brief Relaxation/Breath work (performed by Mr. O. This will lead us into the Journey. Banshee will recite some words after and light a candle for Yule and to light our way forward.
Instructions for the Journey
Everyone should see themselves as the Fool visiting each Major Arcana Archetype & say these lines below along with Mr. O in the ritual: These words will be repeated in between the visit to each archetype (only the last line changes in this verse in between your visits to each archetype. Mr. O will receive a token from each archetype. Visualize yourself receiving the token Mr. O is getting. Hold out your hands, accepting it & bring it towards your heart chakra (which will serve as your “knapsack”). Mr. O, as the Fool, starts it out with some words before you say your lines. Then you will say:
I'm sailing across vast, endless, seas,
walking through dense, dark, forests filled with trees.
Hiking through hills, mountains, fields of grass
to obtain wisdom I wish to amass.
What or who is it now that I see?
The Magician now stands before me.
Repeat the lines above (along with Mr.O) after each card you & Mr. O visit, but change the last line as you are about to visit each new archetype as indicated below:
The High Priestess now stands before me.
The Empress now stands before me.
The Emperor now Stands before me.
The Hierophant now stands before me.
Two Lovers now stand before me.
The Chariot now stands before me.
Strength now stands before me.
The Hermit now stands before me.
The Wheel of Fortune now stands before me.
Justice now stands before me.
The Hanged Man now hangs before me.
Death now stands before me.
Temperance now stands before me.
The Devil now stands before me.
The Tower now stands before me.
The Star now stands before me.
The Moon now stands before me.
The Sun now stands before me.
Judgement now stands before me.
The World now stands before me.
Mr O recites some words again in his role as the Fool to close the Journey. Then you and Mr. O will recite the words below indicating that the Journeying never really ends! But this will be the end of this part of the ritual!
I'm sailing across vast, endless, seas,
walking through dense, dark forests filled with trees.
Hiking through hills, mountains, fields of grass
to obtain wisdom I wish to amass.
What or who is it now that I see?

Journey of the Fool 2023 Card Reading for the Collective
If you have 1 deck, shuffle & focus on your 2023 journey. You will be laying out 21 cards 1 at a time which will be your personal message from the 21 archetypes of the Major Arcana.. Follow along with us. The first position will be the Magician archetype. Interpret the card you’ve drawn for that position according to what you feel the message from that archetype would be. Follow our lead.
If you have 2 decks, place the Major Arcana cards from 1 deck in a circle (or a pyramid shape) around your table in order from the Magician to the World. Put the Fool card in the middle which will be the significator for the reading. If you don’t have room, try making 2 or 3 lines of cards instead. Shuffle your other deck & lay them out 1 at a time on top of each of the Major Archetypes you have on the table & interpret the card you’ve drawn for that position according to what you feel the message from that Archetype would be. If you like, you can take your Fool card from the center and move it from card to card as if they/you are there receiving the archetype’s message.

Circle Released:
Everyone is instructed in advance to recite the following words (below) and write it in the Chat and imagine seeing us all in a Circle holding hands but then, one-by-one we release the person’s hand next to us as we say,
From Hand to Hand, the Circle is open, but never broken.
Then Oberon or Banshee will recite some circle closing words.

I will write a blog post in the future regarding my personal journey originally writing the Journey of the Fool Ritual for a public ritual we did many years ago and recreating it now for the virtual environment.
